Does anybody know how well the carbon fiber hoods stand up against MN winters ? is it a good idea to leave them on ?

    Thanks,

From what I've heard it's not the greatest idea, but people do it, if you plan on getting a CF hood, keep ur stocker and swap them in the winter, or go the smart route and buy a winter beater.

Mine is fine...Since I rarely drive it in the winter months. It is in my garage maybe around 5-10 degrees at the coldest. I drive it once in a while (5-10 mins) to loosen up the car when there is no snow.

It should be fine. My XC ski poles are CF and I've used them in -40 degree weather. CF isn't affected by temperature much until you get into the 250+ or above range. Even then they can be fine if the correct expoxy is used.
