Scoobys, I got a VIS hood on my 99 rs and it won't latch right. It looks like the air duct is hitting the air intake. What can I do to fix this without taking too much off?

Is i the intake box or the intake tubing (like a CAI)?

If its the tubing, you can just rotate that until it doesn't hit anymore. If its the box, then you got a hood that wont fit, and was designed for a WRX. The WRX's IC is slightly lower than the top of the intake filter box on a 2.5RS if memory serves me correctly.

I fixed it today. When my new tranny was installed they took off my intake and hood. when they reinstalled them, the bolts for the air duct was hitting the cone and the latch didnt align right. Bastards! I repositioned the intake and moved the latch towards the front more and it was set.
