I just got a CF Hood and everything seems to fit good except when i shut the hood it lays a little off on the driver side. The driver side front sticks up about a 1/4". I took off the hinge on the hood and it layed down perfect but when it clasps down with the hinge on it seems to not sit right. Anyone here have that problem before. Any ideas? Thanks
I wouls suggest playing with the mountings still. There is a bit of give in how some hoods nee to be installed. Try looseingin up the bolts until just where tehy grip and sliding the hood into place closed, then retightening them. you probably need someone else to help you do it carefully though.
Learn to live with it. Sadly that is the only option I have found with my CF hood and trunk. It is never going to fit perfect, or the way you like but you get use to it. Anyone who sees my car for the first time hardly notices it and only does when I point it out because of my own paranoia. One thing though that many people have suggested to me is washers. I havn't been able to get it to fit right but maybe you will have better luck. The other option is getting hood pins. I know it sounds gay and you think its gonna make your car look rice but I saw screw them. Extra safety with the hood, and it will make it sit flush is what im told. Best of luck
