So my car currently has some cheap emusa ebay coilovers in it. Two seem to be blown.

So i just ordered some KYB AGX struts all around from RockAuto (thanks for the code! Will add mine once i get it).

I plan on probably going with a Ground Control setup.

Question since i don’t have the stock struts for this car: do i need something I’m missing from the stock struts to finish this install? Strut mounts, etc?

Can i reuse anything from these Emusa coilovers?

I’ve only ever added lowering springs on stock struts before, so i had all the parts i needed and it was pretty straightforward. I’ve never replaced the entire setup, and especially without having the stock struts in hand i feel like i may be missing something.

Yep, pretty safe bet the coilovers won't use the stock upper mounts. If you're using a Ground-Control setup, that should be all you need.

If you want to use stock springs, you'll need isolators and perches, too.

    You'll need tophats, yes.

Stock for this setup or aftermarket?

Edit: on that, if anyone has any locally for sale, PM me!

Yes, I mean strut mounts is all you should need. There are more parts you don't have, but you wouldn't use without stock-sized springs.

I'd just get stock-replacement aftermarket (You could use camber plates or solid mounts etc., but I'm guessing since you're ditching coilovers that you're looking for closer to a stock setup).

Not necessarily, but just something more solid and thought out. Still want it to be a bit lower and stiffer than stock.

Also I hear a lot about people swapping in STI Group N top hats. Worth it?

Well I got some STI Group N top hats - had to buy some top hats anyway so figured I'd upgrade over stock.
