cheap place to get odo changed?

    im gettin a new cluster for my rs b.c my other one broke. i need to change the miles on it and i called d&d which is local and they want 160$. is there anywhere else that is cheaper?

    There aren't that many places around here that'll do it, so there may not be much for cheaper places to begin with.

    why do you even need to get it changed? If you sell, just mention what mileage you pulled the old gauges out at. Doesn't sound worth it to get it adjusted at all.

    Changing an odomoeter without actual proof is fraud. There needs to be a sticker in the doorframe (drivers) or some sort of repair invoice from the shop that replaced it. It also has to be checked on the title for the vehicle that the mileage has been changed.

    I had mine changed to match, just so I know what the real mileage is. Not hard to do at all. Send out the cluster, get it back a few days later, and install. I have an invoice from the place that did the work, which states mileage on the old odometer, and that the new odometer has been calibrated to read the same.
