I have some spare time these days, so I started making soups at home. I have been in the restaurant industry for 13 years and I happen to be coming out of a job that had me making soup every day for two years. So, needless to say, I can make some pretty excellent soup.

Every soup I make is always 100% from scratch. I make all my stocks at home, and buy only whole, raw, unprocessed, fresh ingredients. I use vegetable stock in my soups that do not contain meat to keep them vegetarian, and often times vegan. I do not use roux, unless specified, so there is no hidden gluten. A lot of time, love, and money goes into these soups, and you will not find soups that match their quality outside of a fine dining restaurant.

I am offering my 1qt. freezer bags for sale with free frozen soup, for $10.

    Current Inventory:

    1 quart Chicken Noodle
1 quart Tomato with Basil (vegetarian)
2 quarts Butternut Squash (vegan [no dairy, but it does have honey])
    1 quart chicken wild rice
    1 quart barbeque sauce

    Located in Columbia Heights.

So....in the past you have mentioned-broccolli cheese with bacon and potato cheese with bacon, This has caused my wife to start drooling excessively. Are one of these gonna be in the next batch?

You making it to toys for tots, Matt? I'll buy some for sure!

I prefer the least vegetarian as possible option, but everything that's been mentioned so far sounds delicious.

I am picking up half a grass-fed cow tomorrow, looks like I will be making chili with some meat from that that guy!

I have not really done oriental soups, but I may try someday. I would have to do some research to make sure I am able to do it the right way ;)

What kind, how much? I am doing chicken and vegetable right now, and will be doing beef in the next week or two.

Pm me and I will work out a price.

Thanks for all your interest folks! These soups...you will love them ;)

I'd be most interested chicken, though a grab bag would be fun. I'm a fan of freezing it into cubes with a standard ice cube tray. Super handy for all kinds of things.

If you enjoy meat in your household, chicken stock is the way to go, imo. I can make a nice chicken demi for you if you want. It will take up less space then ;)

Some soup has been sold, thanks Jeremy!

Inventory updated, and I MAY make something else tonight.

I am ServSafe certified, but no, not licensed. My kitchen is at my house, and isn't nsf. I thought that by disclosing that, my bases would be covered, but from what I see here, I need to read further. Thanks.

Bake sales the world over be warned...

Interestingly enough that's usually where I end up going with cubed stock. Tighten up roux, drop in a couple cubes, pour over a mirapoux, profit.

I know it's cheating, but then I never have been much one for level playing fields. ;)

You would've thought the bag was full of diamonds if you saw the way my wife was holding her chicken noodle and smiling the entire way home.
