There's a guy at my work place, he's in his mid 40s, and driving a 94 Chev Lumina and kept on saying that his Lumina is way better then my Subie. Well i dont care but its just get so annoying after a while, especially if this happen everyday. So aniways Yesterday, i was talking with someone about buying TVs from PawnShops than he heard the conversation and jump in and said "hey, you should take your SUBARU to PawnShop, they'll give you money for it". Piss me off wight away. Right off my mind I just wanna swear at him. but i reply back to him "and you should take your car to the Salvation Army because its a pieace of crap already". Gosh just pisses me off.
I can't stand people who say crap like that! It's so frickin annoying.. I had some idiot trying to hit on me at discount tires while we were waiting for our tires to be mounted. The conversation kinda went like this... Idiot: Thats my car. Hot huh? (while pointing to an Impala with Chrome rims) Myself: uhhh, no.. (horrified face) Idiot: It's fast you know? Myself: Pfft, I don't like it. Idiot: what the hell do you drive? Myself: (points to the clean WRX wagon) Idiot: No response PWNAGE@!@! After that he stopped talking to me and I was happy. =]
My colleague say the similar thing too sometime.....instead of W-R-X he called it S-U-X. bingo, just remind him that he is going home to a trailer with his 3rd cousin's sister. or some southern BS
just brush it off...he drive a F**k'in 94 Lumina..u think anyone would take him seriously!?! If they do, they are all idiots and I'd find another job...lol Or just write him up...tell the company he is sexually harassing my car...
A guy who drives a 94 Lumina is pissing you off because he says bad things about your car. He's pissed you off so bad you wrote a thread about it online. I have nothing positive to add, here.
I'd tell him he's right about the pawn shop thing... Then I'd tell him the Salvation Army wouldn't even pay for his car, they would have to charge him just to take the car back...
hey, come on... A lumina is practical a practical car, well, practical car.... but it is teh **** box.
well, we all gotta go someday It is my corvette, it moves very slow, and it has all plastic pannels= dent resistent!!!! I will someday have a real car, but... even the pink kiddie vette is cooler then the 94' lumina.
I dunno, if its the Z34 its got a DOHC 3.4L V6.... That still has less power than your 2.0 4-banger. And yours puts all that power down. And your car isn't synonymous with mullets.
yeah, instead it's associated with stupid 18 yr old kids with spikey hair blasting ****ty trance who r graet speelerz
Tell him to trade his Lumina for a pacemaker to that old f***er. Better yet call lit a chevy aluminum. Cause it can crush like a tin can making it wrinkled like him.
Just empty a can of cat food under his front seats and lock up the car. By the end of the day it'll be completely uninhabitable.
Tell him to take it to Good Will. He MIGHT be able to get them to take it, right it off on his taxes and call that a payment. I lol'd at the S-U-X though...
Take a channel locks and crush his exhaust tip so that it's flat. Then fold it over, and enjoy. You can also achieve similar results by forcing potatos into a pipe, or by buying a can of high expansion insulation foam and making sure to empty that majority of the botle into the tail pipe. Make sure there are several hours for it to harden if you use the above method. I too like the oldy (but goody) of loosening the oil drain plug. Good stuff, and he'll be the idiot who forgot to tighten it all the way.
Pretty sure that anything carrying the "Lumina" name is now old enough that it is officially about to die anyways, so I wouldn't worry about it
All he is is just jealous. Wait till winter when he gets stuck in a snow bank and do the following: Stop, Point, Laugh and take pictures of his demise, Post pictures all over the office the next day for people to see so that they can point and laugh
YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO ANY OF THAT. If it's a 3.1 liter just let him drive it and wait..... it'll go into self destruct anywho. prolly just another few miles before he needs another intake gasket.
I like the pouring the milk down the AC vents at the bottom of the windshield. Definitely a good one.
haha, all you guys just reminded me. His Lumina's electrical system was dead few days ago and spend about $250 fixing it and it was worse. Dude got some kinda Home Garauge guy doing it. haha, I told him to get a SUBARU. hahahahaha.......
1. Wait until the temperature outside begins to drop 2. Piss into a bottle 3. Pour bottle down the same air intake vents at bottom of windshield 4. Enjoy
Don't mess with other people's cars, even if it barely registers is a car. That's rule #1 with car folk like us. We don't need to be the hypocrites. My least favorite drivers are the Beretta owners. It's almost always a high school kid or someone who still acts like one. They always think they're faster than everyone else on the road and I've found this occurs about 95% of the time with Beretta owners. Anyone else notice this? No need to take this guy seriously. He talks smack because he either a) knows his car sucks, b) actually wants a Subaru but can't afford it, or c) is coming out and flirting with you. Don't accept smack talk from people who aren't car enthusiasts. Ooh, new thread idea...
