To y'all running JIC coilovers

What spring rate are you running??

I'm pondering a set with "6/8" spring rate, not sure if that means 600/800 or what. But they are a great price.

Also what is the rebuild interval?

    Thanks!

there were this one guy in a brp RS running 9k all around JICs. Fuji_K got a ride and it and them seem really nice. IM also looking into JIC with a rate of 10/12.

the 6/8 dont' mean 600/800. I think it means 6/8k per inch of suspension travel. there's a conversion to lbs but i forgot how to.

also sorry i dont know the answer to the last question.

Yep, that was me... 9k/9k currently and I have a pair of 10k in the garage waiting for some more seat time to determine what I want/need. You definitley don't want these on the street, they are very stiff. They work out to be ~502lbs/in (9kg/mm). 6k springs are 335lbs/in and 8k are 447lbs/in. I believe most "street" coilovers are running in the 6-8k range, but 8k may be a bit stiff depending on use. I know the rates are different between your chassis and mine, however, due to the weight distribution.

As for rebuild interval, don't know for sure, yet, as I only have <1k miles on them from last year. I expect to get at least another 2 seasons before I consider it, but that will be based on time only, not mileage. Maybe someone on the other boards has more experience with the interval.

If it was me, I'd say go for it (but I obviously already did that).
