Its been awhile since I posted anything here, thought you all might be interested in a quick update. I have been in Shanghai for a little over 2 months, the work is very good, busy selling. I will come home for 4 weeks then will come back to China, however I will be traveling throught the region until December. I see some very cool cars over here, many exotics and a few Subies, every subie I have seen is moded. Being a passenger over here is absolutely insane, I just put my headphones on and close my eyes. The taxi drivers have no idea what an address or name of any business is. They only find their way by giving them two cross streets, then you direct them manually. The most important Chinese you can learn is You Gui/Right Turn, Zuo Gui/Left Turn, Yi Chu Zao/Go straight. Well gotta run its 3 am Saturday, I should go to sleep. Mike
While you're up there, ask if Grimmspeed needs any parts brought back. lawlawlawl When you planning on being back, Mike? Glad to hear you're busy, that's gotta be good for the pocketbook.
nice Mike, you should go to the top of the Shanghai World Financial Center and snap pics of that nice view and the puny Jin Mao Building below
Sometimes you wonder about the taxi drivers here in the US, but they're nothing compared to what you can find overseas.
Are you sure you weren't back here in minneapolis?? Seriously, the taxi drivers out here suck ass. GET A F'IN GPS. My god. I had to explain to one this one time where the oceanaire was. There's some things in minneapolis all taxi drivers should know. Fancy restaurants would be one. Anyways, back on topic. Sounds like fun man, enjoy it! -Ryan
