Just thought I would share the video of the "moment" one of our drivers had at the ChumpCar double 7 hour races this weekend at BIR. Took us out about halfway through Saturday. We had to make a trip back to the cities to get our spare rear axle beam since the wheel bent the crap out of it coming off at 90mph @Blackozone - It was great to see the Miata out there again. It looked like you guys were doing really well. Great racing this weekend!
Lol, holy crap, the fastest part of the track is not the place I would want to have a failure. I'm glad your driver made it through ok, and that you guys got it back up and going. We actually were not able to finish the race on Sunday. I was the anchor on the last day. The car had already lost the muffler through forceful modification, leaving no hangers to keep the main piping in place. 30 minutes before the end of the race, the pipe had sheared mostly off just after the header flange and began banging around the chassis. We called it a day to limit the damage to the car and packed up. Even still, it was an absolute blast to be out on track with you all.
We also left our mark(s) on the track with what was left of the rotor Had a blast driving Sunday though. I personally improved my lap times by 8 seconds from our Slow Pokes test day (though I was driving like a sissy before)

Funny thing is he didn't even notice the wheel was gone until he tried to turn into turn #3. Personally the funniest moment in the video, SCRAAAAAAAAPPPPEEEE
