Would it be possible to create a sub-forum in the classifieds for each body style?

Data migration might be an issue, but it would make it easier to find parts relevant to my car and also cut down on the "what will this fit" posts.

Already see a few problems with thsi idea. 1) Alot of parts cross platforms. 2) You're expecting people that can't be bothered to put threads in their correct location already to sort their FS threads properly. There's another reason why you can't search for what you are looking for, it's because 80% of the users here can't spell. Neat idea, but we wont be doing model year specific FS forums.

I got the idea from IWSTI where it seems to work. Of course there are always the douchebgs that post in the wrong forum, but whatever.

model variance maybe NO but I have said it before... have a couple of sub forums.. for separating things like Car Parts... and other stuff (like computers, desks etc)

We have three generations of Imprezas and five generations of Legacys. All with many interchangable parts. I'd rather not navigate eight or more sub forums to view the low volume of classifides here.

exactly... thats why simple is better, although having a separate area for non car related stuff or non subaru stuff would be a good step for as the club grows it is easier to throw that in now with all the new changes then waiting another 4yrs till we are even bigger
