It's time to clean out the garage. I have several old car stereo items I would like to get rid of. No reasonable offer refused. Stuff I know works : Pioneer GM-X524 4x50 Watt Amplifier $60 (Just Removed, works good) Infinity 652.31 Coaxial 6.5" Speakers. $50 ((Worked when removed) Alpine Active 2 channel Cross-Over 3653 $40 (Worked when removed) Alpine Type-R 6.5" Component Set $50 (Worked when removed) Stuff that Probably works : Alpine 4" Coaxial Speaker SPS-100A $10 (Never tested appear to be in good shape) Stuff that needs repair : Rockford Fosgate 75HD Amplifier (one channel works) $25 MTX PRO400XS 5 Channel Amplifier (white smoke, no longer works) $35 The Pioneer amp was just removed today and worked well. The crossover powers up and appears to work. All the speakers accept for the 4", worked well when removed. The Alpine components have the crossovers, tweeters and woofers, no mounting hardware for tweeters though. The infinity speakers sounded good when removed about one year ago. They come with inline crossovers. The MTX amp worked well until I bridged the stereo channels. It got really hot and white smoke came out. I noticed a loose large resistor inside, but I am guessing the repair would require other components. When it worked it was very nice. The sub channel is a class D amplifier. The rockford amp worked briefly when installed last weekend, but then some pops and hisses later only one channel works. Very nice amp in its day. All items are as is, no warranty.
