Alright, I've been doing some cleaning and I've got some parts that I don't really need. I figured I'd see if any of you guys want them first before I put them up on Ebay. 02-03 WRX axleback exhaust. Came off a car sold here with app. 500 miles. In good shape. SOLD DIY LSD rear diff kit. I have the lsd rear diff portion out of an 02 WRX. The LSD has app 18k miles on it. I also have the axles out of an 02 WRX sedan, w/app 20k on them. I was going to put this in my 02 RS but it was stolen before I could. Good for an RS guy who wants to swap out the open diff on their car. Just unbolt the open diff from the ring gear and bolt up the LSD and use the new axles. 300 for all parts or 125 per axle and 50 for the LSD. The boots are in good shape on the axles. Right front Brembo brake caliper off of an 05 STI. Has some minor chips in the paint, but still works. No pads. New is 700.00, dealer cost is 540.00, I'm asking 450. Honda Inca Gold paint will take care of the rock chips. Various pistons from assorted Subarus. I've got several that I've been cleaning up, they make great business card holders. I've got some 2.0 and some 2.5 pistons. Cleaned $15, dirty $10. Not sure if there are any divers in here, but I'll post it up anyway. Viking Pro 1000 drysuit. Never been in the water, I got hurt the day I bought it and haven't dove since. Red and black, has relief zipper and inflator. Also includes an Odin thermal suit, good for ice diving if so inclined. The suit is in mint shape. Includes the repair kit, rocket cap and booties. Asking 1500 firm. New this setup is over 2k. The suit is a size 3. I'm 6'1 and 170, so it'll fit an average male. I'll give ya $40 for the wrx axle-back. I can come down to firestone on friday. Any idea if the LSD would work in a year 2000 rear diff? And that doesn't change the final drive ratio since I'd use my original ring and pinion gear, right? Thanks, Joel
The LSD would work in the 00 rear diff, it won't change any gear ratios. It just replaces the open diff with a viscous LSD. You'll still be using the same ring and pinion. What time are you guys showing up at Firestone tomorrow night?
I usually get there after 9, but I can show up earlier if it works better with your schedule. So, the new axles are required for the lsd kit? Is it a different spline count or something? Thanks, Joel
I'll run down to Northfield tomorrow night and grab the axleback and the axles from my parents place. It's become the graveyard of my Scooby parts. I should be back up to Firestone between 8-9ish. The spline count is different for the axles. I was going to use my RS axles and found out that they wouldn't mate up. I'll also grab a bag of pistons and let you guys pick which ones you want. On a side note...Jason, did you get those sidemarkers put in yet? I've been wanting to see those on someones car.
A couple more things... I have 2 MOMO steering wheel rims out of a WRX. One is pretty scuffed but in ok shape. The other one is in very good shape. They have the cruise switches, but do NOT have an airbag included. I'm asking $10 for the scuffed wheel and 75 for the wheel in decent shape. I'll have these at Firestone if you guys want to take a look. They will fit in older Imprezas, but I don't know if your airbag will work with it.
Yes, I have them...they came the day you said they would. They look great...you can see them Friday night at Firestone. I'll also send you some photos that I have of them. After seeing them on the car, it is a wonder why they didn't come standard on the USDM cars.
Hmm, so it looks like the axles won't work in my car, apparently the WRX sedan axles are 5mm longer, at least that's what I've been reading in the old threads in nasioc. I would need to find a set of 2000-2001 RS rear axles. I'll still take the axleback, but if you don't want to run down to northfield tonight just for that, that's fine with me. I won't have time to install it until october anyway. Thanks, Joel
If you want, I can look up the price on a set of 00-01 RS rear axles. They should be a reman axle so with your discount they'd be pretty reasonable. I need to run to Northfield anyway, so it's not a big deal. I'll see you guys tonight!
