Alright, when I bought my Subaru it made a slight clunking noise when I turned to the left. Since then, I've been a retard and did some major powerturns on the lake at my cabin...as well as some serious off road action. In any event, the noise has gotten worse, and now it will shake at higher speeds. Is this a CV joint?

    Thanks in advance.

    Oh, this is a 94 EJ22 Legacy.

You may want to jack up the front and check to see that things are in order down there. If you think it's the joint, check to see that the cv boot is still in tact and has lube in it. I just found out my boot was ripped open and lube was flung everywhere, causing my joint to be shot. Axle has since been replaced. But I'd start there. Also, check the front sway bar and endlinks and make sure they are tight.
