i am trying to find out if this ACT clutch will be strong enough for my car or if i need to get the next step up. it says the torque rating is 304ft/lbs. if anyone knows that would be great, as i am going to start ordering stuff for my conversion next week.

An ACT stage 2 clutch held my old GC WRX pretty well. No slippage anywhere. It has a VF30 turbo that works in conjuntion with a nice ECUtek tune. It's the ACT clutch designed for the Impreza RS tranny (IIRC, push-type).

Better the clutch burn out than the tranny get shocked. I went with a Centerforce clutch on my old SHO after going through two stock Escort clutches in 80k miles. The Centerforce held up for the other 110!
