I'd like to know who has it and what kind of experiences have you had with this product. The information I have been able to find has defined this product as user friendly and ease of accessiblity to maps. I am considering getting one, and if possible I'd like to get a ride in someone's car that has this unit, if possible.

    Thanks,

    Cheech

I dont have one, but if I had a GD i wouldnt hesitate. Very easy to get tuned, get maps for and tune. Also really, really easy to change maps with. i have to lug around a laptop to change my maps (grumble)

Tom (Wall of TVs) has one on his Subi and it works great. With a full exhaust his car is as fast as an Evo. It just pulls EVERYWHERE.

It is about the cheapest 40hp you can get, and if you are planning any other mods (exhaust, turbo, etc), it is the cheapest way to control your engine mapping. And it comes with every map you could ever want!

    You buy now!

I appreciate the response, its easy to find lots of posts on this topic on many forums. But the difference of what you have read and that reality can sometimes be very different.

    Thanks again,

Well, you can't have a Stage 2 map without a turboback exhaust. Do you have a turboback exhaust already installed? You didn't say.

Yes, that is a required componet of the stg 2, and I do have a TBE. And no its not installed as of yet. Thanks for asking.

What I'm trying to findout is some feedback from those that have it, what issue if any considering the type of fuel we have here in MN, and overall performance gains just from the basemap flash itself.

I've got the Stage 2 map on my STi. No problems at all, good fuel economy if I drive sane (24 mpg), If I race everything that moves then mpg is about 19. Very good power gain versus stock map. I went straight to stage 2 after my exhaust upgrade and have a hard time trying to imagine what it would be like with a Protune because the current power is pretty impressive.

I was just suggesting an opinion based on riding in pete's car. On the highway he was pulling all over me, I couldn't keep up, thats one fast car. After looking at some of the setups on other's cars I find it hard not to recommend.

I just put one on my 03 wrx and i have a TBE and Upipe and the difference is pretty impressive.. I run the stage 2 93 octane map... boost is awesome in ALL gears... I like it.. I would recommend it for ease of use and all that... I just have to get a PRO-tune sometime...

O NOESS!!! t3h FRUMROLLZZ!! The power difference from stage 1 to stage 2 is incredible. The turbo hits quicker and harder even with the LWG stg 2. More low and more top end 4 t3h w1n!
