Cobb AccessPORT

I have an 02 WRX and I have started looking at MODs. I have the stereo well taken care of 800 Watts or so AudioBan system all stock looking, now engine and body mods are next. I would like to probably hit the 300 hp area. The questions are;

1)Does anyone have Cobbs accessport? If yes how well do you like it?

2)I would eventually like to add a roof scoop, and a manta hood. Which body shops in the Minneapolis area would you guys recommend?

3)Does anyone have experience with the guys at xcceleration.com?

I dont have any experience with xcceleration.com. I'm not too familar with COBB, except that I have their Double adjustable Short Shifter, bushings and tranny mount. I'm currently running Vishnu.

I know someone in here does run COBB, maybe he will be able to give you some details.

Still a lot of things to check out. I cant wait to get a few more horses out of this car.

 

The best suggestion I always give is dispite what you read and what you find on the web, if at all possible find someone who has the setup and power capablity that your looking for. Example: Road Racing, go to some events get some rides and find out what they did to get there. And from there its half the battle.

At least this way you know what your going to get as far as performance and its awhole lot better than guessing if this part will work with that part.

I have the accessport and the cobb exhaust. My car is only flashed to stage 1 right now as I am still waiting (like everyone else) for the downpipe. I love the way my car drives now and can't wait to add the downpipe and my TurboXS uppipe and reflash to stage 2. I have read some mixed results from folks, but my experience has been positive. I will be going to the rallyfest on saturday and if you head there, I'll let you drive my car around the block. I'll also have the accessport with me. I have the black car with black and silver SUBARU banner on the windshield and my name's Andrew.

 

Thanks for the info Kickin. Andrew, I hope to make it to the rallyfest on sat and check out your car. I have a visualy unmoded silver one, but usualy the system in it is going quite loud.... I want to get some silver tint for the windows.

I have the Cobb Acessport, and full tbe, so i am flashed at Stage 2 right now, and i love it. granted i will always be looking for more power, but it is satisfying my hunger for now.
