k, for those of you who have the cobb CAI for an RS, you know what im talking about. The blue coupler that is supposed to stop the pipe from banging against the fender...it wont stay still! So every few trips i make, i have to pop the hood and fix it. Its not that bad, but i shouldnt have to do it. Is there andy easy solution to this?
Slit a rubber hose down the side and cover the jagged metal edges with it. That's what I did with my cobb cai on my old RS. Worked like a charm. The blue end piece may move around but it won't matter becuz the hose would prevent it from rubbin the metal. Eventually my blue piece came off and fell out of the car somewhere but it still worked just fine without it. Yia(Yang) has my old cai so if you want to see how it is setup drop him a pm.

If you rig it that way you can just take the blue silicone piece off. Its no longer necessary at that point.
