color question

    what color should i paint my car. i have a sti v1/2 look. there are so many colors to choose from so help.

    The new 08 dark grey. We've got a Forester in that color here and it's pure sex. I'll dig up a paint code/name later for you.

    I saw this in a magazine, i forget which one, a tuner mag. Its called Chicadee Gold Pearl( over black base). It was on a Bug Eye WRX, it was amazing.

    a pic of your car and the current color would help. are you doing a complete including door jams and engine bay or an exterior? if it's just an exterior you should try to keep it as close to the color of your door jams as possible.

    btw, who's doing this for you?

    doing complete. not going to do engine bay. just spraying it flat black. uno where im going to get it painted but not macco

    Search for threads as for a paint shop that is recommended. MANY good results there.

    As for color - I think some kind of yellow over a black base, then with a tinted clearcoat to give it a VERY deep hue. But white is always classic as well.
