Considering WTB: Snowmobile

I am thinking about buying a sled since I live on a lake and will have the ability to get a fair amount of riding in. so let me know what you have or know of.

I am looking to spend 1500 to 2k

Hence the "considering: WTB" thread not the "WTB" thread.

I have started to talk to her about it. If we find the right deal I think I could get the purchase order signed.

 

I have an '02 ZR440 Sno Pro. It's the Firecat chassis, and the last of the racers to be produced trail-ready. Oil Injected. Runs amazing, as quick as any sled until 80mph or so, very light and nible on the trails. Rebuilt Shocks. I'd let it go in the $2k range...

 

I lol when I hear people say these things. "If the wife lets me" and "my wife said no". I guess wife = mom these days :laugh:

 

my aunt has a couple sleds she was looking to get rid of for ~$1k IIRC. polaris 440 liquid cooled, yamaha phazer, and trailer.

if this gets past a considering wtb let me know and i can get some more info for ya.

your still looking? the paper up here is full of sleds for that price range. What brand are you looking for?

 

The reason I am still looking is because I am still trying to convince beth I should get one. The amount of snow we have been getting deffinetly helps my argument though.
I don't get a paper. Suppose I could still check online. I guess my price range is more like the 1500 is the max. I am not to picky on the brand. I grew up riding polaris, but everyone I know up here rides cat it seems like. Just want to find a quality ride and something that is not super old. Looking for at least a 440.
