I thought I post a page for all us Legacy owners to post things we have done and would tell to fellow owners.

Are you talking non performance mods? Or all mods?

Well, everything on legacygt.com applies except for engine mods. Which is fine because modding the NA motor is pretty much fruitless.

All the suspension or cosmetic mods are there. I understand what you're aiming for here, but it would just be regurgitating what's already on legacygt.com.

    I haven't. Mine is 100% stock.

    I assume you've got a 2.5 NA?

Legacys of this generation look best with tint and just some subtle cosmetic tweaks like de-chroming, debadging, a nice quality mesh grill, a lip, wheels, and lowered (but not slammed) suspension. They are nice cars, but look really stupid riced out. Keep them more elegant and tasteful and they look really good.

I hate to sound like a broken record here, but you'll find lots of info on legacygt.com. Get some ideas over there, and bring your thoughts back here or show off here what you've done.

Yea I have seen one riced out I hated it, but these mud flaps look great do you know how to debadge the rear Subaru symbol. I do have a 2.5 SE but I see you have a 3.0r what color is it?

Yeah, Subarus look good with flaps. I believe the Subaru symbol has holes behind it. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong.) It can be removed, but the holes will, of course, need filling and painting. I'd suggest leaving that one.

    Metallic bronze.

Nope. I'm planning on selling it, actually. It's an auto. It was probably a mistake buying it. I can't stand not rowing my own gears. I need a manual.

Though, the 3.0 is a NICE engine. I'll miss the smoothness.

or when you're drunk......... i mean........ what?

jk jk yea, manuals do suck from time to time. But overall it's just soo much more entertaining, kinda gives you that feeling that you're actually "driving" the car instead of just pushing 2 pedals.

Rear sway bar, better tires, exhaust if you just want a little sound, otherwise dont touch the engine at all, an n/a subaru engine bay is just a place to throw money, and you'll never get it back.

To add to this, there isn't much power modding you can do (maybe 20HP from a full exhaust, intake, and then add some lightened pulleys/flywheel?). Suspension however there is a bunch!

I like hitch racks, personally. With the kind that the wheels sit in, rather than hanging from the top bar on the frame. Nice and stable and I like the fact that the bikes don't swing around.

I have one of these (which is actually a Sportrack): http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product_10053_10052_540912_-1___202378

Since I sold my previous car, I have yet to get a hitch on this one, though, so I can't show you what it's like, unfortunately.
