pretty decent list, thought there would be tons of domestics. http://editorial.autos.msn.com/article.aspx?cp-documentid=434398&topart=sports here is the list for the lazy who dont want to read Acura NSX '90-'05 Buick Grand National '84-'87 Dodge Omni GLH '85-'88 Mazda RX-7 '93-'96 Mitsu Galant '91-'92 Toyota Celica All-track '88-'93 Toyota Supra '93-'98 VW Corrado Vr6 '90-95
Good list, for sure (along with the ones at the bottom you didn't list). However, I'd want to add a few cars such as the Camaro and the Integra GSR/Type-R to the list. I'm not so sure about the Fiero, though. lol.
they were not part of the list Tom, they were future Barn finders lol Its funny, all but the NSX, and Corrado are factory turbo charged
RIP: 93-01 Impreza Maybe its not on the list since subaru is secretly planning to bring it back for another run at glory. this 08 sti thing is just a rouse to throw everyone off. (prays it is true!)
I'm sorry guys, 2001 is long gone. The newer cars are what they are for a reason; rigidity and crash saftey, of which the GC/GM Impreza does not hold a candle to. That 400 lbs went somewhere. Cripes, my BC Legacy is a floppy POS compared to newer cars.
What about the 1st and 2nd gen. dsm's? They were hot AWD cars that were easy hp. I had a 2nd gen awd/turbo dsm and loved it.... Until I totalled it.
Tom, please don't diss on the Fiero. I loved my GT, even tho it seriously needed more power.
Sound like a dance move. Kinda like the Hustle. "Do the Crankwalk!" I imagine it involves someone walking like their knee is broken sideways for a bit of time, then exploding on the dance floor.
88-91 Corrados had the G60. 92's had the first VR6's with a distributor. 93-95 had VR6's with electronic ignition. 95's were not sold in the US. G60's actually handle better due to less weight over the front axles.
The first gen rx-7 and the datsun-z are also missing. How did the sentra se-r make the list before the z? Although the se-r isn't technically on the list, but you know what I mean.
not entirely true. There a re great DSMs out there... somewhere. most of them ahve been killed by some idiot by now. I think that a pristine nice DSM will be worth a lot on 30 years, because all of the nice ones have been pooped upon 5 years ago.
