Cool car. Funny thing is that most people would see that thing and chalk it up as another ricer.......only to get their doors blown off, hehehe.
I saw the build thread on that one. The first clip they got had crankwalk. I think they got a partial refund and a discount on the second one. There is quite a bit of custom work in that car. The whole firewall had to be cut out and the one from the clip installed. The who rear end had to be modified since this car came as a FWD; gas tank, rear suspension, everything. I can't wait to see that thing with a paint job. Awesome car!
Wow, bunch of haters. It's ok to be jealous of a car that's faster than yours. This isn't the only one.
I am no hater, i think its cool. I just dont think its convinient to drive a car with a steering on a right side where everyone else has it on the left side. To me this mod is kinda like putting a ridiculously huge wing(spoiler) that is supposedly for "down force" but really is useless and makes it hard to open the truck and all that crap.
The steering wheel is on the 'wrong' side because the firewall from the front clip had to be installed, and the firewall is where the steering goes through to the steering rack. It was some 'dumb ricer' mod like a wing.
That thing is sick. I would either paint it bright yellow like the one in Legend of Speed or black pearl like Initial D! hehehehe
I think its pretty sweet. Thats a lot of work, and I give him props for that. Once its done, he'd be able to get a grip of cash for it. RHD civics go for a retarded amount of money. And this thing would destroy most of honda's best. He's got a big thread on mnsc.ghey
TKRPerformance is the guy who did this, he went on the DSM cruise with us and is an active member on dsmstyle.com. I've seen this car in person many times and it's amazing, very solid work and it made that power without really being tuned yet (I believe). 4G63T FTW I took this pic when we were on a cruise... the bum is pretty funny.
That steering wheel is actually on the "right" side in both ways. I would love to drive a RHD car. If your too lazy to go through a drive through in reverse....or just go in.....don't drive a RHD car. Don't think it's a ricer mod, just because it's how japanese cars are. I don't think you'd call a RHD STi ricey would you?
I agree, it looks awesome... and there is a lot of work into a build. I just think it's still a mitsu.... ;o
rofl! hot evo but needs a good paintjob to look clean to go with the power. id still prefer to make a 22b instead of an oldschool evo
