So I'm going to get a water/alky/methanol injection kit for my car. The build should be done by May 12th at the latest and then it's getting tuned by phil on the 15th. I really want to run methanol injection so I can get a full tune. I'm looking into the coolingmist stg. II kit with the vari-cool computer. http://www.coolingmist.com/detailmain.aspx?pid=controllerkit2 . I looked into the computer and it seems really flexible. http://www.coolingmist.com/info.aspx?key=softwaredet . What do you guys think? I can also get a good deal on it ;) thanks to importimage.

Have you looked at snow performance? Its the only one out right now with a fail safe.

I e-mailed UltimateCC about it (they sell the kits) and he tried to screw me over. They are having a group buy right now and I pm'd him about prices. The normal kit is 399 and 99 for the failsafe. He told me for the group buy the kit is 365 and 130 for the failsafe. WTF!!! So if people like this sell the kit, screw them, I'll go somewhere else. The Coolingmist kit has a passive failsafe in the form of an LED that shows the amount of water passing through the nozzel. So if the light is red or whatever it does, then there is a problem. So I guess it's like a gauge, keep an eye on it and take precautionary measures if something is wrong. I'm also going to install a float switch into the bottle so I can see when fluid is low (I have a floatswitch from my auto-topoff on the old fish tank ;)). So I'm going to purchase this kit today and I'll tell you guys how it goes.

I just ordered the flow sensor from them, it just splices into the line and when the nozzle gets plugged a led ligh lits up on your dash.

The Derek's Devises one has a failsafe, but it is mostly popular with the AEM EMS and Supra crowds. It can lower boost, add fuel, removed timing, etc when the pressure for the methanol injection isn't enough.
