Hi everyone I since tomorrow is going to be a nice day I thought it would be great to have a drive. This is going to be at your own pace kind of event with the front being the faster people and the back being the ones that just want to cruise. The roads we will be taking are very nice deserted country roads for most of all the driving. We will start at the Machine Shed out in Woodbury. We will leave by 9:15 Am so try to get there by 8:45 Am. Route maps will be passed out to everyone that shows up. If you have a walkie talky bring it as we will be using a channel to communicate. The route we are using is one of Tom's Country Tour routes used last fall. It will wind its way around and we will pass through Stillwater and eventually end up in Taylor's Falls for lunch. There are 2 gas stations we will stop at on our way to Taylors Falls but be sure to show up with a full tank. I have posted this on other car forums so I hope there will be a good turnout. If you know a good route or know Tom's Pickle Factory route PLEASE call me and we can see if the route is better than mine. No car will be left behind on our tour however I do not want to hold the front cars back from going their own speed so they may be driving fast but everyone will be able to go at whatever pace they want. If you need help finding the meeting place or have any input or questions feel free to call. My cell is (651)707-6584. If you are going east on 94 get off on Inwood Ave. Take a Left At the top of the ramp to go North on Inwood(across the highway) and the Machine shed is on your right. We will be in the South East side of the lot (the part furthest from the machine shed and also closest to the highway.) Here is the Machine Shed's address for Map Quest: 8515 Hudson Boulevard (I-94 & Inwood Ave - Hwy 13 exit 250) Lake Elmo, MN 55042 (651) 735-7436
Yeah I know last minute thing but I posted it on about 5 forums so people might come. If you can think of any forums to post it on copy and paste it into a topic over there. It will be interesting to see how many people show with only a nights warning.
Well to anyone that is going to show up see you in the morning. Hope to see a few people from this site there.
Yeah this is a good post, but plese post at least a few days in advance. I woulda come as well if I knew sooner. Dave
Not really. I took some and 1 other guy took a few. I don't know if he is going to post them though and mine were from a box camera that I had in the car so nothing special. VERY nice day though.
