break-in period? I've learned 100-200 miles without boosting

I've also heard that i should use regular motor oil. (I've always ran 5w-30 synthetic.) True?

Break in period is at least 200 miles and yes, use regular ol' oil (no synthetic) for the break in period. After that you can go back to synthetic and hopefully you'll have no problems

I call BS all the way around. I installed my turbo, ran amsoil in it since day one. 20 min after it was installed I was pushing 22psi through it. It has worked fine for the last 35k miles.

Nope, bought mine in Iowa. The salesman told me when I finished doing 55mph around a 25mph corner that, "It will hold at higher speeds than that.":eek3: I thought he was crazy, but he was right.:):naughty:

I only did 80-90 on my test drive with the dealer but I also then went and did donuts behind Minnetonka with her in the car... ha ha

besides, the turbos are always balanced which menas they have been spun at high speeds for some time anyways.. so I say add oil, drive like you normally do... not like any rings or anything need to be bed in...
