For those that are into rally, CPD2 in the X-Games “Lava†wrap is on display at Bloomington Subaru thru Monday. This vehicle was used at Sno*Drift rather than CPD1 for 2 reasons: It is cheaper to repair should we hit anything and it has a heater! It performed well during the event- we hit 108 MPH on one of the straights on stage 13 though things could be very interesting at that speed. The car was pretty stable on the packed snow roads until we ran into rutted portions and then it would want to bounce up and out of the ruts. We went down one of the straights sideways at speed which wasn’t much fun. Check this out-a blog of the race. Do you like David Gee's writing style? If you can get one of these on display at the showroom, why not put one on the stand at the Auto Show ? The Subaru stand had *plenty* of empty space last year; more than enough room for a static display. Stuart.
