Hey guys, got a crack windshield..I know my insurance is covering this. But I was wondering is there any recommendation from you guys? or I could just get anybody to do it right off the phone book... should be no problem rite?? Anything I should ask about?? thx
I'd ask your insurance company for local recommendations before just going to the phone book. I know the Audi guys are always careful they get OEM glass replacement.. (but I don't know why! :-o ) Also, there's a guy that everyone on mnaudi always recommends named Bill. Bill's Auto Glass Express Bill Holloway Cell 612-961-7533 After 5pm 763-421-7292
I got a cracked windshield when my car was one week old. It was taken care of the same day by a place in Roseville. Just find a place that has either OEM glass or PPG (?) glass and you'll be fine.
I use Harmon for glass replacement. My insurance has full glass coverage and most places these days deal direct with insurance. Probably the easiest thing to fix on my car.
Use a place that gives you $50 or a box of free steaks Don't let the Insurance company bully you into one of 'their preferd' shops. It is illegal for them to make you use any one business; you can use whoever you want. Might as well get some steaks out of the deal too!

My agent has been able to provide a lot of info and suggestions in the last issues I had had. My last one was also a cracked windshield, he setup the whole thing, the Glass company called me and they even came out to my work and replaced with. Good luck. Johnny B C
