    Yeah,

He did the samething I did. We both put small block chevy motors in them.
Couple friends have Caddy NorthStar motors with matched trannys and they seem to hold up better. My old Fiero was running a SB chev with a 50shot Nitrous.

If you would like to read up or see how easy it is to do check out
www.v8archie.com for the info and pictures. Also if you are running around the Blaine area in the summer keep a eye out for Tina in her silver Fiero.
License plate says GRL PWR and it's running a 383 stroker with Nitrous. Very nice looking car.

Anyway there out there, just though I would post the lifted wagon incase anyone was looking. I have not seen it since I sold it but we still talk Fiero's once in awhile.

500 horse in something with a wheel base that short!

    Wow...that would be a handful :eek4: I'm impressed.:naughty:

Or maybe the wheelbase isnt that short and I just kind of assume it is from looking at them.

Doesn't it have a BYB kit in it? you lifted that thing before I lifted mine, and I got the first AA kit.

what motor's in it? a weak 1.8 but more reliable than what was in it....EA81? or did he/you just convert to SPFI...

wow...$2200....Mine ended up going for 1600....

    Yup Chux

It's a BYB kit, I sent him an email about that. AA didnt have theirs out yet.
I dont know what motor it has in it now, it had an EA82. He was doing a swap I thought. I will have to ask or maybe he will pop in here and add some info. Price might be a little steep but you have to start somewhere.

As for the wheelbase on the Fiero, yeah its short but after you change the springs they handle pretty well. You can swap the front disc brakes off a Gran Am onto the Fiero by crisscrossing fronts to rears. Fronts need a little bit of modding but you end up with bigger brakes then on the Fiero.

oh yea, I know. I started mine a $2k.....and IMHO they're worth at least that, but there just aren't enough people interested. It took me about 3 months to find someone willing to pay 1600, and it ended up going to Kansas...

Oh and here are a couple of the motor pictures

I got out of this and into Subarus. They are all fun. You might get a kick out of the last picture. The used to have the 2.8 Liter v/6 in it.
