Craziest ticket yove talked yourself out of!

So I was looking at my wall and saw a "warning" I recieve a while back, I was wondering if anyone here has talked their way out of a really good one.
For instance, mine, a sargent had to slam on his breaks, in an intersection(driving ereor on my part cauise I had just got my lic.) and he told me that I learned my lesson, and to hang the warning on my wall. so I did.

i got out of a 10 over in deephaven w/o valid insurance. cop was really nice and it was my first violation, had to get proof of insurance (whihc i had but couldnt find) and show it.

got pulled over while following some friends around in st. lous park. cop was FURIOUS!!! i was speeding and driving aggrssively but not racing or anything (i was 100+yrds behind other cars) he got called off on a robbery, thank the lord cuase he ould have killed me.

got boxed into a buddies driveway by a cop. he talked w/ me about my loud exhaust. ended up explaing to him how turbos work, and about my kit. let me go, he pulled me over again fro an out headlight and let me go.

so far only 1 ticket lets hope it stays like that.

 

comming home from henn. tech one night on hwy 12: passed in a no passing zone, failure to use my turnsignal, and following too closely, state trooper pulled me over, told him what was up and he let me off with 3 written warnings.

 

Years ago, I was flying a gutted 1st Gen VW Sirocco, with a worked newer GTI engine & some “rally inspired†suspension mods & junk. . . . away from junior college, where I had just flunked “that†level of math again. There was this fabulous twisty road between the college and the home of a drinking buddy. It wove up a valley, winding along a small creek with elevated train track running diagonally through this few miles long stretch of the valley. I was driving a bit angry at myself and kept the speedo above 80mph. . . . most of the road is 45mph some is 30. I am doing a little sideways this and a little airborne that, just minding my own business, when I see a pair of headlights trying to gain on me. I figure it for a mullet in a camaro, so I stay on the gas. I am always just rounding the next corner as the headlights become visible. A few times I see the headlights projecting out into the fields after turns, instead of rounding the bend as they should. Man! This dude is seriously never gonna catch me I am thinking. Then it occurs to me, I may have even said out loud to myself “Awe hell, this guy knows he is beat, only a cop would keep tryingâ€. So the road runs up the valley’s side, makes a sharp left and levels out on the ridge top. I am well ahead, crest the hill, make the left and shut it down to the speed limit – 30mph. He crests, makes the turn and I swear I could see the expression on his face in the rearview as he smoked up the tires, front bumper nearly kissing pavement . . . trying to brake. He just missed rear ending me by fractions my math skills are to bad to estimate. Then the red and blues came on (he had previously been too preoccupied), I immediately pull over. I am by the book, he is visibly shaking, almost can’t manage my ID. Among other things he wants to search my car, to which I consent. He finds my two thermoses (about the only things in the car. . . don't even remember if I had a passenger seat in it at that point) and inquires about the contents (thinking he has open containers + whatever and I won’t be driving for a while, maybe). I respond one has coffee and the smaller one has espresso. “Esspresso!?!? What is that!?!?†he says, “does that have alcohol in it?†I respond with, “officer, it is espresso†and we do this little dance were I won’t give him a straight answer and he is too embraced to call in to dispatch to ask. He checks my tobacco and pipe out and ends up letting me go with a warning. He could tell I was flying, but never got a radar lock on me & if he ever sees me just a fraction over, my @$$ is his . . . he says.

ive gotten away with two 15 overs. i was uber nice to the police officers both times and they let me go

 

most recently i was on 94 (on my motorcycle) almost to the albertville exit. went to pass a durango going way too slow...let her rip to get around him, when all was said and done i was doing 125ish....apparently the durango was the state police...pulled me over said i was going well over 120 mph...i didnt lie i agreed with him, he went back to his truck, came back around 2 minutes later and said "slow down" and said i was free to go...i thought about going to the casino afterwords.

 

"reckless" wheelie on my bike....he said i was getting aticket and i was like oh **** i will get fired for this, then he was like...ohhh...and i was like yeah...and he said well if i see you do it again your getting a ticket!

 

hahahaha same thing happened to me!
but it was a girl cop...

yeah i posted it. i used to have a captioned version which waspretty funny. anyway i gotta remeber to give you that slot car stuff next time we meet jason.

 

as long as the slot car stuff keeps coming up Jason don't forget I have lots o track w/all the fixins, cars, controllers etc... all served up for a good price!

Now back on the topic I wish I had some crazy story about talking my self out of a ticket I guees sometimes I'm lucky and sometimes not. Off the top of my head 7/13 times I have received a ticket all I have ever done is "try" and be polite and honest.
