    I mentioned this to a few of you. BBS had a partnership with Saab for the 9-2x to offer take off wheels. Well with the announcement of only a two year run of the 9-2x--the wheels have shot waaaay low in price.

    The wheels are 17x7 +48 offset.

    They are going for $128 a wheel. Dealer list is $350. I bought mine a month ago at $145 a pop. You CAN get them with a BBS center cap for extra $$ from Tirerack.

    I am getting mine powdercoated burnt bronze for around $60/wheel.

    anyone know if that offset clears the sti bremmies?

    SORRY! Forgot to mention THIS WILL NOT clear Brembos. However, supposedly it will fit the 4-pots--don't quote me though.

    if you want to test fit one on my JDM 4 pots i'd appreciate it. I might pick up a set of these myself to replace da rotas

    We could do that if you want. I still have mine boxed up and obviously not on tires but I am sure we could get an idea wheter it worked or not.

    I will call Morries, supposedly all dealers are supposed to be selling them at at least $141--plus we get a % off at Morries. You might be able to save on shipping by getting them in town.

    They're a 7 inch wide wheel, so they should clear the 4 pots. I'm actually going to try testfitting one of mine to an 06 when I get a chance to see if they clear, but I'm pretty sure they will.

    Topher, who is doing your powdercoating, and do they have a color selection online? I've been considering possibly coloring either these or my winter wheels, or perhaps both. Thanks!
