Thank you guys for all of your help! :D

We got a loaner caliper on the rex and just need someone to work on the other caliper.

Does anyone have any experience or can direct us to someone who has experience with getting out a broken bleeder screw from a caliper? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks again for the quick response. I'm sure once AWD_101 has a chance, he'll post something too.

Thanks guys. The bleeder screw broke off in the caliper and in trying to get it out with an easy out, the **** easy out broke in there! Then we drilled through that and broke another one...and another one after repeating that process. So, now we really are in need of a loaner spare caliper until we can get this caliper thing resolved. Please, if anyone knows anyone or thinks they know where we can get one, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

sounds like you guys got this problem fixed, thus the crisis averted thread name? there is always something that goes wrong when you work cars. my buddy was chanign a thermostat on his firebird, just a 3 dollar part and 2 bolts. but those 2 bolts became one with teh block, and required 2-3 days to get out using torches, easy outs, and drills.

Yeah, that is what it was coming to at around midnight lastnight. I changed the intro to this thread too. See above.

Next time throw the easy outs in the garbage and just chuck up a drill bit becuase your going to end up using the drill bits in the end anyway :p

That sucks dude, heat? pliers? vise grips? otherwise you're gonna have to drill the thing and re-thread it.
