Ok, I can't honestly believe I am posting this... but what all are the differences between the WRX and the Limited, and from MY06 to MY07.

So yeah, I have been eying a few cars, and have had some serious talks with one. Specifically, its a 2006 WRX Limited, and I would like to know what the normal WRX has over the Limited and vise versa, and what the 07 has over the 06.

is it leather and a sunroof basically?

 

Wrx tr has manal climate controls, no side skirts, inside door handles are black not chrome, stereo is different, mirrors are black not painted. Probably more just can't think of them.

 

WRX has that the TR does not:

CD/MP3/WMA 6-disc changer w/aux in
Auto climate control
side skirts
bucket seats
color-keyed mirrors

mistyped actually, limited is what I meant, limited.

 

limited has different 4-speed auto transmission and leather and a sunroof above the WRX.

I've got the book at home, will post much more detailed when I get home.

This is about it. The seats are actually exactly the same, except the regular WRX seats have the headrest imbedded. Additionally, the TR does have body colored side skirts, they're just of a different (less flashy) design then the regular WRX ones. Also, some of the interior trim pieces are different.

As for the differences between 06 and 07, the 06's had aluminum control arms, different tail lights, and some misc engine differences (the air pump is slightly different).

The limited model typically has a sunroof, leather heated seats, and a better stereo.

Well, engine in the broad sense of the word. The longblock and pretty much everything are identical. About the only thing I know off the top of my head is different is the airpump design.

WRX LIMITED:
• Black or beige leather seating
• Dual-mode heated front seats
• Windshield wiper de-icer
• Heated side mirrors
• Trunk spoiler (sedan only)
• Moonroof

but still curious about the 06 to 07, I ask because I know its benificial to go 07 STI over 06... so I am curious

 

My 06 tr has a pretty sweet 6 disc changer and tape player combo haha

 

Well, the 06 has aluminum control arms, where the 07 does not. That's pretty much the only real difference I can think of off the top of my head.

The cold start airpump is slightly different, but that really doesn't make any difference what-so-ever.

FYI, 06 STI is more benificial than 07 STI.
