Of the 3 current themes, please let me know what ones you like (by voting in the poll) and what you do or do not like about the theme(s) that you currently use. It sounds like most people are using the dark theme, and I know that there are a few color/icon issues. How are the colors?? Is the blue/grey ok?? Reason being, with the next upgrade that is coming out, there is going to be another big change to the way the themes look/work. So I will have to spend some time on getting the colors right and fix the things that will break. So while I am fixing everything, I will also be making some changes to get everything a bit better looking. Also, if there are not many people using the light theme, we may just pull it and leave the default theme and the dark theme. Again, I am open to opinions for what people are looking for. Also, if you are using more then 1 them, vote for the one you use the most and make a post about the other one that you use. Personally, I use the dark theme the most, but for a few hours during the day, the sun comes in and hit the monitor, so I use the default theme during those times. Thanks Russ
I'm all about the dark theme. The icons work fine for me, but something that goes with the flow of the site would be better, IMHO. Thank you again, Russ for all the work on the new site.
I use the dark theme but I also go to the light theme or default when I want to give my eyes a break. ANd yeah, the sun thing on the black doesn't really work too well, so I'll use the default then.
I use both, but since I'm mostly on while at work, I voted the light theme. Both seem to be working fine, besides what's been noted already.
I use dark as well. Luckily for me, I don't remember the last time I opened my shades so sunlight is a non-issue
Either theme. My only comment is the read vs. unread icon colors are too close to the same. Needs to stand out more so when I am scrolling through the page I can see the difference easier.
I like the dark theme, except I think the text color of the thread titles when you click new posts could be a little lighter and this text box I'm writing in now could use a little more contrast. Is there a way to have this textbox background gray until it gets focus and the change to a white or lighter gray maybe?
function over form I guess. VBdefault. Dark background is simply not great for reading, even if it looks cool. The bright blue on the light theme is a bit retina-burning.
I have about 2 hours into it, so probably not for a while and definitely not before the next VB update. Thanks for the input so far. Russ
