Of course I learned the hard way that a big TMIC will rub holes in the AC line. I had Dealer Automotive Services in Hopkins crimp a flexible hose onto the ends of the OEM line. They did a good job and it was cheaper than buying a new hose. Total bill including a leak test and refill was $330. I also got shop to give our members a 10% discount off parts which is cool because they also sell accessories like remote start and sound systems. I'll add them to the shop list when I get all the correct info.
Wow i have the same problem, never thought of rerouting the ac line like that...anybody around here have the crimping tool to do that other than the shop??
nope... too specialised and unless you do a lot of stuff like that it isnt worth the investment in my shop....
