i found a guy in north carolina that will build you a clutch, in his shop, in one day, and ship it the next. he will do spring, heavy spring, or solid inner hub. stock, or heavy pedal weight, and... ceramic/kevlar friction plate. this is for my 80s subaru, and it should handle 75% more hp, than the stock xt6 clutch held, so its around 250 hp, or something =] so you new gen guys could have him build you one too. not sure if he does puck clutches, but im ordering a disc. stage 3! no more slippin =] oh yeah, the good part. 200 bucks. compared to 450 from most other companies. he says he sells the same stuff that clutchmasters sells. lemme know if anyone wants his number.
for my 80s stuff, it was 200 bucks for a stage 3, and 180 for the stage2. i didnt get into ej stuff with him, but it seems like 200 is about what he charges for whatever.
What's the number for this guy? I would like to get into a little "clutch" discussion with him. Maybe even go to him in the near future.
