Walked out of work this morning to find this. I was parked on the Augsburg college campus in the 2hr parking zone. Anyone see this happen? Any info would be helpful. The other car must have hit me pretty hard, because my fog light bezel was on the ground and the light itself is now bent slightly off to one side. :eek4: Still works, though... EDIT: Upon closer inspection, the bumper is now slightly loose on that side, too, so some attachment points must have been bent a little. Also, the fog light actually looks like it was bent out of shape before this instance, though. One thing's for sure... the bezel doesn't fit like the other side does. PLEASE if you do this to anyone's car, leave a note. Or better yet, learn how to parallel park. This is probably a couple hundred bucks' worth of damage. Coming down off my soap box now... :emo:
+1 - get back on that soap box if you want. stupid people. my friends drunk girlfriend fell off of a bike into my car on saturday night.... after i asked her to get away from my car with the bike... she said don't worry. then decided to try and marker someone in the face and fell over on the bike right into my door.
not that bad compare to yours. lol. sorry to hear this jeremy. hope insurance covers it...? or there's a few people on here that can paint.
Insurance would cover it, but I don't know enough to say whether or not it'd be worth paying your deductible to fix it.
That sucks, you should find out if there are any security cameras around the lot and try to find out who did it, then hunt them like dogs!
well I am jaded to that sort of thing - but my dd has all kind of scuffs like that. being that it's on the plastic bumper, I wouldn't worry too much about it. sand any rough stuff off, toss a little touch up paint on it and call it good. definitely walk around looking for cars with WRB stuck to their bumper though
Not a bad idea. I was on the street, though. I'll take a look around on Thursday when I'm back there. In the mean time, I'm considering making two big signs for the front and back saying "please be careful" ... or maybe even an extended bumper I can clip on when I'm parked. Or maybe I won't worry about it.
Or maybe leave it as is and call it a battle wound? That might scare other cars into parking a little further away. :hsugh:
