I've purchased a turbo kit for my 00rs haven't recieved it yet but pretty soon. I was wondering if anybody knew of any shops around this area that does really good custom piping(intercooler,turbo piping)
could talk to nate, wrxboy2003. he can do custom bends, and does nice work. however i dont know if has done aluminum before.
I have a MRT front mount intercooler already custom made for a GC8 bod car. its on a japanese ej20G engine right now, but i'm probably geting rid of it at some point this winter. If you want it, i'll sell the intercooler,piping and bumper beams all in one shot.
Really??? A turbo kit on the GC? Hot! What is the turbo kit name brand? If it's a real kit, it should come with everything so you don't have to run around the city looking for odds and ends. The intercooler, fuel injectors, and plumbing should all be included.
It's a custom kit i purchased from this guy on rs25.com. I was just thinking if i recieved the kit and don't like the pipings then i would custom make my own. I"m thinking stainless steel up and down pipes and aluminum intercooler pipes, hopefully converting it to front mount instead. That's only for now though, i'm planning on throwing a jdm motor in the far future. Hopefully i'll get my kit in this week. Fong your old subbies gonna be boosted hahaHHAA...

what kind of ems u using for the kit? and can wrxboy2003 make exhaust also? how bout titanium exhaust?
well i'm just gonna use what i got with the kit right now which is the safcII along with a proecm. Eventually i'll upgrade to the greddy ultimate and yes wrxboy2003 can make exhuast but no mandrel bends. Aluminum and stainless steel but i don't know about titanium.
Yipes. I would re-budget and live on ramen for a month, whatever you have to do, just get some REAL engine management SOON.
