The parts guy at Morrie's said (with a straight face) it would be ~$500. He also let me know they are indeed different part numbers. Wow...
He burst out laughing once you walked out the door. I think every dealership employee laughs at customers almost every day.
Likely different part numbers, but should be interchangeable. Sedan and Wagon would be different. Yea, IIRC Subaru has been discontinuing a lot of their reman axle options. New aftermarket ones are getting cheap. With pretty good results, but still far more failures than OE (just submitted a warranty claim this week on one, I hope they pay labor, or we're loosing money on the whole deal). Personally, I still reboot OEM axles. It's a messy job, but for less than $50, you can rebuild the axle yourself and it will outlast the car.

I'll see what I can do about being on the other side of you so you can be surrounded by all things Subaru.
a new development but with an HOA run by MNSubaru and instead of a park there would be a pullbarn with stalls
You get shamed if you talk about the "hot girl(s) driving a Subaru" around here. Haha. Besides, if it's a block party with just dudes there shouldn't be anybody to b!tch about the amount of non-running Subarus sitting around.
