My passenger side CV Axle (half shaft) is shot, and both Autozone and O’Reilly have multiple sizes . Before I have to take it out, does anyone know the actual length? They have 5 different lengths... 774mm, 30 9/16, 30 5/8 (778mm), 31 7/32 (793mm), 31 9/16. Car is a 2008 WRX. Thanks!

Can you select it based on position on the car? I know the older ones are different between wagon and sedan, as well as position on the car (allegedly).

I work at advance auto and can look it up on Sunday if you don't have an answer by then. Also possibly at a discount..

Yeah, but I still get multiple sizes, also one that looks fatter (maybe a heavy duty?).

Sorry it took so long to reply, ended up forgetting to check on Sunday due to other work things.

For the front, I came up with part number ncv66002 for or style axle listed at 82.99. There's also a thicker one with pn 22100 for 119.

I didn't get lengths. What's interesting though is the 5 to 6 speed swap forms, it sounds like the front CVs are the same between wrx and sti, but the rears need different axles because of the hubs. That being said, ncv66002 and 22100 show up when I look it up as an 08 wrx, but only 22100 comes up when I look at the 08 sti.

I'll post more info if I find anything.
