yep, Ice Races a couple yeas ago. Zak (esperunit on here) took the video. I'm the one using the screwdriver as a stethoscope to confirm our suspicions. and it was Justin's car. was an EJ257 block too....was only in the car for ~6 months.
I don't know. I don't think that's Zaks account. I know he uploaded it to YouTube: read his description...it's pretty funny. actually, looking at the other videos posted by that user, they're all ripped off....
Yep, that's the car I just drove here to work. I bought it from someone who bought it from Justin - so he had nothing to do with the sale to me. However, I was pretty pissed (at the kid that I bought the car from) when I found that video for the first tme as I had no idea that had ever been done to the car. It still had the WI plate on it when I got it which is how I found it. It's pretty funny that the car now looks a LOT like it did with the morettes and the mud flaps. Does anyone remember the mielage on the WRX engine that is in there now - so I know when stuff needs to be serviced? I will PAY for that information. That audio is just painful.
The 2.0L that is in there now is my old 2.0L. It had 50k on the clock when he took it. No issues, no problems.
Man, some of the comments on youtube make me weep for the future. Kids are getting dumber by the second.

just so EVERYONE knows, i did not sell the car to Gridlocked. I sold it to another local guy and told him everything about the car. This local guy then sold it to Gridlocked and obviously told Gridlocked nothing about the history of the car. Justin
Sorry Justin, I'm not trying to stur the pot. I did get the car from another guy who, if the history WAS known, didn't tell me about it. I've had no problems with the car at all and the motor is good - I just wanted to know where the mielage was so I knew when to service stuff.
oh no, not at all..i know you arent. i just wanted to let everyeone else know what i wasnt the one who sold you the car. the guy that sold it to you absolutely knew the histroy..heck he was there with me for a some of it(first duluth trip)
