So it looks like we'll have another "dual" tour this weekend. Looking forward to bumping into you guys again (not literally). I've read several (Subie) posts about keeping the pace in check. For those that are interested in a slightly faster pace (safety is still #1), feel free to join us or check out what we do. I have no intent on trying to "steal" cars away from your tour (seriously Matt), only to offer the option to drivers that want to move a bit quicker. In fact, it's entirely possible we may have some drivers showing up for our tour that may be more comfortable joining you guys. Either way, we'll have two groups and you can join the one you feel most comfortable with. Your group (as of our last meeting) was ALL Subaru. Our group has an Evo focus, but we usually end up with all kinds of cars. Some of our regulars include: Murcielago Roadster, Aston V8 Vantage, 911’s, Lotus Exige, Elise, & Esprit, M3’s, Evo’s, STI’s and 1 Cobalt SS (had to J). I’ll include the info for anyone interested. P.S. my vid clip has a PG-13 rating for language. Sorry for the short notice, but my Sunday just freed up, and the weather forecast says sunny and 55, so here goes: You are cordially invited to join us for the D A Y L I G H T S A V I N G S T O U R Starting at Bogus Creek Café and Bakery in Stockholm, Wisconsin 9:15 AM Sunday, November 4, 2007 Turn your clocks back Saturday night and sleep an extra hour before the tour! We'll we can just stick to the old plan... Those who'd like to join us can and those that dont can keep an eye out for a Blue M3 who's leading our pack.
Yeah, you're out for revenge after we made your tour spin out last time:laugh: But seriously, any good safe drivers who would like a more spirited drive are welcome to join us. Bogus Creek Café in Stockholm, WI at 10:15 this Sunday morning, or 9:15 if you would care to join us for breakfast.
At the request of the admin staff I'm separating the fall run and daylight savings tour. We definitely encourage members to set-up events, but we need to keep them separated to minimize any confusion.
So who is leading your group, Matt's Evo or Tom's Evo? Welcome to the forum. Looks like you boyz are taking a pace much too fast for my taste on farmer Jack's back roads. Enjoy!
Looks like we might get Glenn again, either in the Lamborghini Murcielago or the Aston-Martin Vantage V8. He says he can't decide. Oh to have such dilemmas... In any case, meet at Bogus Creek in Stockholm, WI at 10:15am if you want to see what he brung (as it were).
Well, those are some pretty nice pics! I will have to sift through to see if I have any worth posting. Can't wait to see some of the vids you got, even the short ones my wife shot with our digital camera were fun to watch. Good times. -Matt PS: Very nice meeting all of you! Quite the friendly group
Great pics... truned out to be a beautiful day for a cruise... was nice to bump into you guys... Did you get any vids?
So you were the group that set up video and got the whole subie group driving by? I'd like to see that video, even though I slowed way down and waved all the way through..haha. Didn't realize I was being taped until I saw the camera on the ground at the last second. Where's the video?
Thanks for another fantastic video, Jeff! Great music too. By the way, the driver who visited the ditch in the beginning would like to remain anonymous, and I think we should respect his privacy.
I didnt realize he had gone off till after seeing this video. Hope he's alright, I'll have to ask him next time I see him. I take it the Lambo or something w/major WHP must of been leading considering the gap he created away from the group. The video looks like an old Kung-fu movie where they have sped up the film to make it look like they are really going fast. I hope for the safety of the people who live in the area and for the sake of future tours alike we dont get unwelcome attention causing everyone to look else where for road tours. I'm off my soap box now. LOL
