Im planning on making a dealer trip next week/weekend just wondering what is your preference for Subaru dealers in the metro, since there isnt one in the mankato area. Any of them offer a discount(from experience I know the white bear mitsu offers a discount for the mitsu-style forums)? Would any of them even ship parts?

I need some group n top hats, oil filters(might just order the Wix filters locally), and the oil cooler gasket.

    Thanks in advance

Morries Minnetonka Subaru. Especially for your parts and service needs. Tell them you're an MNSubaru member, they have a discount.

2nd Readymix. I drive across the cities to go to Morrie's, and I live ten minutes from White Bear.

Sounds good, I sent morries parts department a request for my parts I am looking for on their website so hopefully they give me a call monday.

I totally hear you out on that @derp I live just south of mankato and used to go all the way up to white bear mitsu for service and parts on my evos instead of Bloomingdale which was closer. Would much rather drive a couple extra miles to get better service and deals than settle for less.

Follow up question for this thread - are there any sales people that are more knowledgeable about WRX or Forester XT? I'm torn between the two right now and want to chat with someone knowledgeable.

Call Morries Minnetonka and talk to Mike Clapper aka @Squiggly or Scott Putnam. They have both been in the Subaru game for awhile!

Are you looking for info on new models or old @klutz ?

looking to get into a new car. Have two kids (4yr od & 9months) so want to see if car seats fit in the rex or if I'll be "resigned" to the Forester XT which I have heard is a great fallback choice...

ps - thx for the contacts at Morries, I will def be calling them

Back seats in the 2016 WRX are waaaaaaaay bigger than my old bugeye which was a little tight for car seats. Don't have an infant seat anymore, but my 6yr old fits great in her booster with a back, so I expect you'd be fine.

I've known Scott Putnam for 13 years, so buying from him and Morrie's Minnetonka was a no brainer for me.

Look forward to meeting you one of these days Ryan!

I've never purchased a "new car", but i know the other guys well at Morries Tonka from my involvement here on MnSubaru. Nothing wrong with adding an additional, knowledgeable salesperson to our collective!
