Here's what the latest project on the house has been; blood, sweat and curse words to build our 20' by 30' deck.

That is a serious deck you have going on there. It should be nice when it is finished.

Yea, I am down to help out. I dont claim to be a master deck builder though :). This was a huge learning experience for me, my dad was the teacher.

Nice looking Deck. Just curious, how much did all those pier's cost you installed, and how many are there?

The concreate/sonotubes that are in the ground. Or were those there from an old deck? They look fresh

How did the stairs turn out? That's the hardest part to make look perfect, or so I've found.

Well, its tough to say since I didnt pay for labor. I think they took us about 65 bags of concrete plus the actual tubes and the rental of a power auger for a day. I bought all the materials at once and without the receipt which I am to lazy to go get right now I couldn't really tell you, they sucked ass to dig though.

The stairs turned out perfect, but the landing I made prior to the stairs being built is ummmm not exactly square to the deck....so I need to readjust that now lol. :(
