I'm a little sketch on wiring the controller and gauges. If i gave someone some cash could they help me out sometime at a firestone meet or somthing? Also, i have an egt that i need to tap as well. I cannot find the tap anywhere. Its an m10 by 1.00 extra fine thread. Does anyone have one from a previos tap or do they know where to get one? Thanks
If it's a defi gauge EGT sensor, it's a NPT tap. I believe it's a just a 1/8 NPT tap. You just need to drill the hole and tap to the correct size so the temp probe sits far enough into the pipe.
You don't technically wire the gauges. You just have to wire the controller and then run the daisy chain wires to the gauges. Then just connect all the sender wires to the controller and set your warning indicators.
If your putting your gauges in the dash, power them off the clock. That's what I did, so have others.
thats what I did and all the wire are labeled on the botom of the clock pod so you know which is the power ign and constant etc.
well i figuered it all out. I wired it off my after market deck which worked out ok. Unfortunaltly,one of the wires(ground) inside the little plug that goes to the controller fell out and i cannot fix it so i have to order a new power source cable
