    power cord and everythign come with it? does the dvd player part work?

    Yes, power cord is included. It should since that is how I got the operating system on it. I will double check though. Do you have a preferred media player? I like the VLC player but will put Windows Media player on it if desired. I do have an antivirus, a pdf reader and Flash player installed and it is current with all patches and service packs.
