Denon AVR-588 AV Receiver. Full specs here: http://www.usa.denon.com/productdetails/3643.asp

The Bad: I don't have the remote.

I'll save you some time. I ran the price of it a few places:
    Ebay: $150 + shipping
Craigslist: $225. Only 1 listed on CL
Online (Tigerdirect)(refurbished): $150 shipped. This was the cheapest online price I could find.

With that said, and knowing I'm missing the remote, My price-to-sell is $100.

Update: also willing to trade for a mountain bike, Must have front suspension and be a decent brand bike. I'm assuming i'd also have to kick in a little cash. PM me if interested.

Bump, starting to look for a new bike. Willing to entertain mountain bike trade offers.

    All PM's replied to.

As for the remote, you could buy a stock one, or just do what I have.. Logitech Harmony. They are a little pricey, but bad ass.

As fondue said, only HDMI video. The audio is handled via optical cable for 7.1 sound.

I thought HDMI spec was digital video + digital audio.

The cables themselves pass both, but whether or not a reciever will pass both is dependent on the reciever. The more expensive models have HDMI that will allow for both audio and video.

    oh, and Ryan GLWS!
