it'll be nothing but a rusted skeleton by the time I'm done with it...and I need to get rid of it...like...tomorrow, or tuesday! where should I take it?
if it had wheels on it i bet jeff @ s3 would take it. to fill w/ old parts and send off to junkyard land. might even give ya a couple bucks for it
Viking Auto Salvage. They have an adjustable flat bed with a winch. Will just hook up, tip the flat bed, and winch it on. $50 and all your problems dissapear  Check or cash only.
You can check on craigslist, there's usually several people advertising they haul junk cars on there, auto salvage places that will sometimes haul them away for free. I don't know and haven't used any of these places, so I can't personally recommend them, but they might be worth checking out. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/c...AreaID=&type_search=1&query=junk+cars&cat=sss
Viking Auto Salvage. Trust me guys, I've called all the others. Soon as you tell them it has no wheels/tires they tell you to have a nice day.
^^ Noted. ^^ Also, if any of you guys participating in the Readymix EJ22T breakdown day have junk auto parts or things you need to ****can that don't fit in your trash and you didn't want to pay to dump it, bring it with you and we can toss it into the back of the wagon for when they haul it off. There might be some extra room after everything else is gone.
A steel mill will give you more for it than a junkyard, but it probably won't tow it for you. The mill will pay you a set price based on the amount of steel in it, a junkyard will give you a fraction of what they think they can pull out of it (a frame... well that's not much)
I don't really care about the money. I just don't want a hunk of scrap metal laying in my driveway for much longer than I have to.
just to give you guys an idea...here's a pic of it now, and I'm not done with it. I'll probalby call viking...but I'd like to find somewhere I can deliver it, and maybe save myself a few bucks, I've got a trailer strong enough to hold the shell just fine, so I can take it somewhere.
not anymore, we took wtill more stuff off, and despite taking the rear hatch off, it's now heavy in the back...
