Hey guys I have a 1998 Impreza L I bought a little while ago. One light on the dash is the air bag light, and easy way to diagnose this, or is this something that happens a lot that you can tell me what it normally takes to fix it? Just kinda bugs me. Appreciate your help.

I'm guessing that's why it wasn't fixed on an inexpensive vehicle. How about.... I just take out the bulb instead, haha. There I feel better.

I think that I have a clock spring,
I will check when I get home.

If you haven't already, make sure the plugs under your seats are plugged in. That will throw a light. I've even had mine go off after taking a 90 degree turn at higher than recommended speeds :) I've got an 02 wrx, so the 98 Imp may be different.

Crash you car head-on into a tree at speed. If the airbags go off, they work. If not, you need to fix your airbags.

    :p

the one I have looks like an older one, ('96 maybe)
the air bag plug, is the large one.

my '98 has the smaller plug.
