Chief Executive Officer Dr. Helgeson also asked that I share a brief story about the patients we see...so here goes (it is hard to choose just one ): A couple of days ago, I had a woman come into our clinic in excruciating pain. She had just had a tooth extracted 3 days before at another clinic. She had spent the morning at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She was referred to us from the U because of her complex medical problems. She arrived at our office nearly in tears because of pain and frustration. I was quickly able to see what was causing her the pain; she had a dry socket. After cleaning and packing the socket, she had immediate relief of pain. If it weren't for Apple Tree and the support that we receive, this lady would have likely continued to suffer from a very easily treatable condition. I didn't know anything about this. But I'm proud to say I'm a MNSOC member and being a part of that makes me feel good. I'm glad that MNSOC is doing such things.

Carrie, Is Apple Tree Dental set up with Goodsearch? http://www.goodsearch.com/ Last year I had all my work stations set up with this on the homepage. We raised about $100 a month for a local battered women's shelter just by making a couple extra clicks a day.
